CED India/ Organisation
The Centre for Environment and Development (CED), established in 1993, is an autonomous research and development, training and consultancy organisation focussing on fields related to Environment and Development.
CED has its Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, Eastern Region Centre in Bhubaneswar, Regional Centre in Hyderabad and projects in Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Pondicherry and Gujarat apart from Odisha and Kerala.

Projects Completed
The Governing Council constitutes 07 members headed by the Chairman. The Executive Director of the Centre officiates as the Member-Secretary of the Council.
The Faculty Council includes all the scientists of the Centre and acts as a platform for sharing expertise and formulation of research programs. The Faculty Council meets once in 2 weeks.
The Research Advisory Council advises the Centre on all matters related to research, consultancy training and academic programs. The RAC constituted with 15 members who are experts in various fields.
