.The Centre for Environment and Development is organizing a National Conference, Indian Environment Congress 2023 (IEC 2023) with the focal theme ‘Sustainable Waste Management- Challenges, Opportunities and Innovations’ from 11th to 13th July 2023 at Mascot hotel, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The proposed congress is a three day program for deliberating on the Waste Management scenario, both solid and liquid, in Kerala, and analysing the SWM and WWM strategies and technologies adopted in various parts of India. Senior experts in the subject will be presenting on various topics. We expect nearly 200 experts, officers and researchers in the waste management sector to attend the 3 days sessions. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, will be inaugurating the Environment Congress on 11th July, 10.00 am, at Mascot Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram.
